What is Job Placement?

Job Placement is all about connecting job seekers and employers. It requires a thorough understanding on both sides. For the job seeker, that means understanding your skills, strengths, and desires. For the company, it means understanding its strategic talent needs and specific roles it needs filled. When these there is a good match, we are in business!

Our Philosophy

Job Placement doesn’t mean that we will magically get you a job. Getting a job is a result of many stepping stones, including having the desired skills, branding yourself, and having a strong project portfolio. Once these areas are strong, we help you get seen by the right people. we amplify you by leveraging our network, platform, and relationships that we've built over the last 10+ years.

Develop a Compelling Portfolio

A strong portfolio can do wonders when showcasing your skills. Why? Because it represents ACTUAL projects that you have completed. Having a strong portoflio brings you to the top of the list. Well, what happens if you don't have projects becuase you don't have experience? You can CREATE projects. This shows you are being pro-active and is the best way to combat the "Employers want someone with experience" sentiment. 

Please send a link or attachment with some examples of your past work. This can be a Google Drive folder, a Loom video, a personal website, PDF files, etc. This will move your application to the top, and it's very helpful for us to understand your work on a deeper level.

Approach

After we identify the types of job that you are after, we will suggest projects that you can work on to add to your portfolio. The key here is not just to do any projects, but to do projects which are COMPELLING & CHALLENGING. After all, nothing is ever easy in the real world, so we will find a project that mimicks the challenges you are likely to encounter in the real world.

After talking to many job seekers, the common thread that we've heard over and over is that job seekers are just not being seen. There are so many skilled candidates, but with so much competition, it truly is hard to standout. There are certainly things that you can personally do (which we help with), but sometimes what you need is someone to amplify you and to advocate for you. With a strong network, including hiring managers, recruiters, and talented employees from the best companies -- we look forward to helping you get seen!
